One thing we do like to point out is that you should not dispose of your old mattress or bed until you have recieved your new one. Our carriers are very reliable but vehicles can and do breakdown and we can accept no liability for any delay in you recieving your goods or any consequences that arise from such delay.

Or criteria for the beds we sell are that they are of a quality of timber and a standard of construction which will satisfy our customers which in turn we find causes us less problems in the long term, also though the timber used for preference is Scandinavian we do like to sell British made Pine Beds because though we source products from all over the world including India and Italy, we do find that you cannot beat a British built Pine bed. When you are choosing a Pine bed the first question you should ask is will it fit? This is because for example though a double Pine bed takes a 135cm x 190cm mattress the overall bed could be around 142cm x 202cm so if in any doubt at all please contact us for the overall dimensions of the bed you are interested in.
A question we are frequently asked will the colour of the Pine Bed be the same as my existing pine furniture and the answer must always be probably not, even if you buy a bed from the same manufacturer in the same colour as your existing furniture, if there is a time difference of more than a month or two the colour of your existing pine furniture will have mellowed and the new Bed/ furniture will appear slightly different, however we find so long as the original shades were similar most pine colours and shades seem to blend nicely with one and other.

A range of top quality Metal bedsteads and Metal headboards at realistic prices, which make an ideal base for all Relaxsan mattresses. These are substantial products and should last for many years, the base's are constructed from a box section steel which is bolted together using Allen type bolts and then laminated slats located by plastic end caps are used to give a slightly sprung support for your mattress. The base is then secured to the Head and Foot end with eight Allen type bolts giving an absolutely rock solid fix not requiring any extra support legs due to the strength of the components and fixing. All these bedsteads have a nice finish and the Genuine Brass fittings on some of the Traditional style bedsteads and headboards are a particular joy. Most Metal beds of this quality are significantly more expensive than these and ones at the same price or cheaper are often of flimsy metal with angle section side rails which bend under even the slightest misuse. When demonstrating these Metal Bedsteads in our showroom we actually stamp and put our full weight on the side rails to show the strength of these Metal bedsteads. So if you are considering a "budget" alternative to these Metal bedsteads, also budget for replacing the bed a lot sooner than you might expect.
